User Roles

The different user roles in the Talosix EDC platform allow for a clear division of labor and responsibility. The three main user roles are Study Manager, Site User, and Remote Clinician. Each role has its own specific responsibilities, and the users are granted access to different parts of the EDC system based on their role.

Study Manager

The Study Manager is responsible for the overall management of a clinical trial. This includes tasks such as creating and managing the study design, enrolling patients, and ensuring that the data is accurate and complete.

The Study Manager also has the authority to assign roles to other users and to grant access to different parts of the EDC system.

Site User

A Site User is responsible for entering and monitoring patient data into the EDC system on behalf of their site. They can also view and edit patient data, but they cannot modify the study settings and manage other users.

Remote Clinician

A Remote Clinician is a healthcare professional who is not physically located at the study site. They may also go to the patient's home to collect data and submit it using the DataFlow mobile app.

Remote Clinicians cannot enroll new patients. Their permissions are limited to entering patient data into the EDC system.
